2012 Pinewood Derby Info

Jan 14th, 2012 Marlborough Pack 42 Pinewood Derby at Immaculate Conception

Quick Info:

- check in is on Wed .Jan. 11th at the Boxell Home 6:30pm (see doc for address)
- the race is on Sat. Jan. 14th at 10:30am (see doc for specifics)
- city wide race is on Sat. Jan. 14th at 3:00pm same location as Pack Race( fastest 3 cars from Pack race will be in this race )
- the award groups will be as follows:
    - Best Paint Job
    - Most Imaginative
    - Best Sports Themed
    - Fastest Looking
    - Most Realistic Looking
    - Most Original.
- Leaders will vote on awards at 8pm on weigh in night.f
- you will submit your car the night of weigh in into the category you would like to be considered for
- the award groups are totally separate than the speed placements.

Bobs Woodworking

Hello all scouts,

This is the last weekend before our pinewood derby. Is your car ready ? still need it cut out? head on down to Bob's woodworking and get it done today.

Bobs woodworking is in the rear of Trombetta's right on Farm Rd. near the Airport. He does a great job helping people cut out their cars and you can even sand and paint your car while your there.

This is a great way to get your car in the fast lane and be ready for next week.

2011 December Pack Meeting

Here is what we have lined up for our December Pack Meeting

Kane School Cafateria

When:
Tuesday December 13th, 2011 @ 6:30pm

Announcements/Reminders:

- ALL Registration fees are due at this meeting for those that have not already paid
- Coat Drive ( We will collect "gently used coats" )
- Pack Event Caroling on Friday December 16th (Details coming)

- Presents for the Hospital (we will collect a small gift from each scout to bring

to the Marlborough Hospital something kids can use during their hospital stay!!!!)
- Youth Protection Training collect certificates from ALL ADULTS

December Leader Meeting Reminder

Reminder our regular (First Thrusday of the month) Leader meeting will be held at 7:30pm at the DeHart homestead on December 1st, 2011.

All Parents are always welcome to these meetings leader representation from each den is required.

Leaders please have your Awards ready to hand in.

Reminder: November Pack Meeting 2011-11-15

The November pack meeting will be held at 6:30pm on November 15th at Kane School in the Cafateria.

All Scouts should be in FULL Class A Uniform

Highlights:

Enin Mulligan will be crossing over into Boyscouts

We will have a guest speaker
