How to Take Youth Protection Training Online

• Go to http://olc.scouting.org
  
• Scroll down and click on "Youth Protection Training"
  
• A login screen will appear. Most will not have an account, so click on the "create account" button
  
• Fill in the account information. Most can choose "not a member" if you aren't an adult leader/committee member in troop 41.
  
  • As part of the account process, you need to supply a valid email address.
  • Make sure you fill in your name - it will be used on your certificates for completed training
  • As part of account creation, you will get emailed a link to click on. Click on the link, and you will be taken to a web page where you choose a password for your account
    
• Now go to http://myscouting.scouting.org and sign in with your new account
  
• Click on "E-Learning" in the left corner of the screen
  
• Scroll down and look for the "General" tab, find the Youth Protection Training, and Click "Take Course"
  
• Finally, take the training !!!
• When you have completed the course, you should be prompted to print a certificate, which you can bring to the pack meeting and turn in to the Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster or Chair.
  
• You can also return to website's E-learning section and click print the certificate at any time.
